Indian MBA programmes, designed for the command and control
economy of 80’ and 90’, have lost their relevance completely. The context of the global as well as the
Indian economy has undergone sea change.
Although our economy has grown fastly during last two decades, its
biggest challenges are poor performance on human development, inclusiveness,
sustainability and governance.
Indian B’Schools need to do soul searching and change
themselves from class room teaching to innovation factories which produce
socially responsible leaders who create sustainable value while addressing the
challenges of human development, inclusiveness, and sustainability.
